Dr. Chelule has over 20 years of experience in leadership and previously served as the Director of Partnership, Strategy, Research, and Resource Mobilization. Before joining SEZA, he was the Chief Research Scientist and Deputy Director at the Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute (KIRDI)

His responsibilities at the Authority includes; providing prerequisite information to investors in SEZ applications, Developing SEZ evaluation criterion, Determining the types of zones to be designated, receiving and evaluating proposals/applications to designate SEZs, Conducting due diligence of the SEZ site to ascertain information provided
Ag. Technical Manager
Mr. Francis Gitau
Among the responsibilities he carries out include projects reviews, appraisals, and licensing, coordination of the Authority’s performance contracting and work plans of the Authority.
