Infrastructure & incentives
Adjacent Infrastructure
• An Internal Container Deport (ICD) has been completed and operation
• Access road from Mai-Mahiu – Narok road to the ICD and a meter gauge railway connecting he ICD to the old meter gauge railway at Longonot (25km) are complete and operational.
Internal Utilities Infrastructure
• Construction of Special Economic Zones Authority administration building, boundary wall and access road are ongoing
• Construction of water pipeline (50km), pump stations, booster pump and water storage facilities (gravity tank 4500 cubic meters, site tank 450 cubic meters) has been completed. The pipeline has a capacity of 8000 cubic meters per day.
• 11KV power line has been constructed while a 66KV substation is under construction
• Land sub-division and preparation of Registry Index Map (RIM) has been completed
Power Tarriffs
The government has established a preferential power tarriff of $0.05/KWh for the zone.
One Stop Shop at the Naivasha SEZ
The One Stop Shop (OSS) will be formed in cooperation with various agencies & stakeholders for services to be offered under one roof under the Special Economic Zones Authority.



Plans are under way to build the Naivasha SEZ Admistration building that will subsequently host One Stop Service offices
